Emily Hampshire was born in Montreal in Canada. She was she was raised in Montreal. She attended a convent school, where she participated in school plays, and grew an interest in performing arts. Coffee was Cassie Tatum, a recurring role on The West Wing from 2003 to 2012 and Janie Ros in Franklin and Bash.
